Humphrey CPA Group-May 2010-Present-Owner

I provide audit, accounting, tax and bookkeeping services to various not-for-profit agencies. I specialize in Single Audits (governmental funding) audits, Section 8 HUD projects, and other not-for-profit agencies. 

London Witte Group-October 2007 to May 2010-Principal

I supervised staff of 10-12 individuals for our audit services. My responsibilities were audits of utilities (electric cooperatives, natural gas providers, and water companies), low income HUD projects, and several governmental funds. I was also responsible for preparation and review of a number of individual returns, corporate returns (including consolidated returns), partnership returns and exempt organization returns. I also prepared in house continuing education classes for the staff in areas such as audit risk assessment, Form 990 preparation and documentation issues.

I supervised a staff of 10-20 individuals. My responsibilities were audits of not-for-profit organizations (charitable, civic organizations, membership), accounting and tax preparation for small businesses (retail, manufacturing, physicians, dentists, agriculture, not-for-profit organizations). I prepared and reviewed many individual returns, S Corporation and regular corporate returns, and tax exempt entity returns. I also presented and prepared yearly in house training in such areas as compilation and review, audit standards, audit and accounting updates, Form 990 preparation.
